In July 2022, Dr. Ismail Selim gave the Opening Speech of the International Hybrid Conference on โHuman Rights Trafficking, Social Media & AI Regulation and Climate Justiceโ at the British University in Egypt.ย ย The Conference was held in the frame of the Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition, the 31st of its kind.ย Dr. Selim highlighted the value of moot court competitions in light of global as well as African challenges.ย The conference was attended by senators, judges and ambassadors from over 30 African countries.
